The Cranston East Thunderbolts softball team (Cranston, RI), was routed 10-3 in Tuesday's league test with the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI)

Coming up next, the Chieftains clash with the East Greenwich Avengers (East Greenwich, RI) in a Division 2 B test, on Thursday, May 19. Ponaganset will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Avengers come into the test with a 14-3 record after their 2-1 league loss to Narragansett (Narragansett, RI).

The Thunderbolts (0-13) will now prepare for their test against Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Titans come into the Division 2 B test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Toll Gate edged West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 6-2, in a league test.
