Maine High School Softball - Hampden gets by Bangor

The Hampden Broncos got by the visiting Bangor Rams softball squad by a final score of 9-8 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Broncos (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against Hermon (Hermon, ME). The Hawks go into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Hermon nudged Old Town (Old Town, ME), 4-2, in a league battle.
The Rams now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford Hills for a Class A North battle on Saturday, May 20. Bangor will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Edward Little (Auburn, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 9-1.
