The Hampden Broncos softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host Bangor Rams to 5 in the Broncos league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Hampden improves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Broncos travel to Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME) to clash with the River Hawks in a Class A North game on Wednesday, May 10. The River Hawks come into the game with a record of 8-0. Skowhegan won 6-3 in their recent league game against Edward Little (Auburn, ME)

In their next game, the Rams clash with the Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) in a Class A North game, on Wednesday, May 10. Bangor will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 3-3 record after their 16-1 league win over Mt. Ararat (Topsham, ME).
