Lafayette Central Catholic Knights (Lafayette, IN) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their baseball squad nip the visiting Logansport Berries (Logansport, IN), 3-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Lafayette Central Catholic moves its record to 19-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Greencastle (Greencastle, IN) to face the Tiger Cubs in a non-league battle on Saturday, May 17. The Tiger Cubs enter the battle with a record of 16-3. Greencastle won 18-1 in their recent league battle against Brown County (Nashville, IN)

Next, the Berries face the Bremen Lions (Bremen, IN) in a non-league battle, on Monday, May 19. Logansport will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 13-9 record after their 7-5 non-league win over Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN).
