Rhode Island High School Softball - Mt. Hope Ponaganset

The Mt. Hope Huskies softball team (Bristol, RI), was routed 8-3 in Friday's league test with the host Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI)

Coming up next, the Chieftains encounter the St. Raphael Academy Saints (Pawtucket, RI) in a non-league test, on Monday, May 22. Ponaganset will attempt to improve on its 11-6 season record. The Saints enter the test with a 6-11 record after their 8-7 league loss to Cumberland (Cumberland, RI).

The Huskies (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos enter the Division 2 test with a 8-5 record. In their last test, Burrillville was routed by West Warwick (West Warwick, RI), 6-5, in a league test.
