Fans at Monday's league test between the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) and the host Middletown Islanders (Middletown, RI), witnessed Mt. Hope's lacrosse squad hold off Middletown by a count of 15-14.

The Huskies (3-11) will now prepare for their test against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains enter the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Ponaganset nipped St. Mary Academy-Bay View (East Providence, RI), 13-12, in a league test.
