The McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Citronelle Wildcats to 12 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, McGill-Toolen moves its record to 5-12 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Saraland (Saraland, AL) to clash with the Spartans in a 6A Area 1 game on Tuesday, May 3. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 17-15. Saraland won 15-0 in their recent league game against Blount (Eight Mile, AL)

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 2. Citronelle will attempt to move on its 6-11 season record. The Leopards come into the game with a 2-7 record after their 27-9 non-league loss to Murphy (Mobile, AL).
