In Tuesday's non-league contest, the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets (Mobile, AL) softball team held off the host Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL), by a margin of 10-9.
With the triumph, McGill-Toolen moves its record to 6-14 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Saraland (Saraland, AL) to play the Spartans in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Spartans go into the match with a record of 17-15. Saraland won 15-0 in their recent non-league match against Blount (Eight Mile, AL)
With the loss, Citronelle moves to 6-12 on the season.
