The Buena Vista Demons got by the visiting Salida Spartans baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Demons now possess a 13-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary's for a 2A Tri-Peaks bout on Saturday, May 6. Buena Vista will face a Pirates team coming off a 6-4 non-league loss to Lamar (Lamar, CO). The Pirates record now stands at 7-9.

Next, the Spartans face the Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) in a 3A Tri-Peaks bout, on Thursday, May 4. Salida will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-12 record after their 7-1 league win over Florence (Florence, CO).
