Virginia High School Softball - Eastern View bounces James Monroe

Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) and the host James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), witnessed Eastern View's softball squad tip James Monroe by a count of 13-8.

The Cyclones now sport a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Spotsylvania for a Battlefield match on Thursday, May 4. Eastern View will meet a Knights squad coming off a 10-2 league win over Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Knights record now stands at 12-4.

With the loss, James Monroe moves to 0-12 on the season. The Yellow jackets host Armstrong (Richmond, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Wednesday, May 3.
