Eastern View Cyclones (Culpeper, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting James Monroe Yellow Jackets (Fredericksburg, VA), 12-2 in a league challenge.

The Cyclones now own a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to King George for a Battlefield challenge on Tuesday, May 9. Eastern View will battle a Foxes squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA). The Foxes record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, James Monroe falls to 1-14 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets travel to Spotsylvania (Spotsylvania, VA) to battle the Knights in a Battlefield challenge on Tuesday, May 9. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 12-5. Spotsylvania lost 16-15 in their recent league challenge against Eastern View (Culpeper, VA)
