Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Chambersburg holds off Altoona

May 2, 2024: Chambersburg, PA 17201

Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA) and the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), saw Chambersburg's baseball squad knock off Altoona by a count of 9-5.

Coming up next, the Trojans play the Cedar Cliff Colts (Camp Hill, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth battle, on Monday, May 6. Chambersburg will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Colts enter the battle with a 10-4 record after their 4-3 league win over Mifflin County (Lewistown, PA).

The Mountain Lions now possess a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Red Land for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth battle on Saturday, May 4. Altoona will play a Patriots squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Shippensburg (Shippensburg, PA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-11.
