The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) and the host Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY), saw Pulaski County's softball squad nip Estill County by a count of 10-4.

The Maroons now sport a 21-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Southern for a non-league match on Friday, May 3. Pulaski County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 10-6 non-league win over Western Hills (Frankfort, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 8-12.

With the loss, Estill County falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Engineers travel to Powell County (Stanton, KY) to face the Pirates in a District 56 match on Monday, May 6. The Pirates enter the match with a record of 3-9.
