The Pulaski County Maroons routed the host Estill County Engineers softball squad by a count of 10-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Maroons (21-4) will now prepare for their battle against Estill County (Irvine, KY). The Engineers go into the non-league battle with a 9-12 record. In their last battle, Estill County was routed by Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY), 16-6, in a non-league battle.
The Engineers now sport a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Pulaski County for a non-league battle on Thursday, May 2. Estill County will meet a Maroons squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Russell County (Russell Springs, KY). The Maroons record now stands at 19-4.
