Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), 23-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 16-3 record. They take the field next when they host Magruder for a non-league challenge on Friday, May 3.

With the loss, Springbrook falls to 0-19 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD) to face the Barons in a non-league challenge on Monday, May 6. The Barons enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. Bethesda-Chevy Chase lost 8-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Einstein (Kensington, MD)
