Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) and the host Springbrook Blue Devils (Silver Spring, MD), witnessed Walter Johnson's softball squad prevail over Springbrook by a count of 21-0.
The Wildcats now sport a 16-3 record. They play next when they host Magruder for a non-league match on Friday, May 3.
The Blue Devils (0-19) will now prepare for their test against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Barons come into the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Bethesda-Chevy Chase was routed by Einstein (Kensington, MD), 8-2, in a non-league test.
