Virginia High School Baseball - Washington-Liberty edges Wakefield School

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA) and the visiting Wakefield School Fighting Owls (The Plains, VA), saw Washington-Liberty's baseball team beat Wakefield School by a margin of 4-2.

The Generals (14-8) will now prepare for their battle against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the Liberty battle with a 8-9 record.

Next, the Fighting Owls face the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, May 6. Wakefield School will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record.
