Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host North Gaston Wildcats (Dallas, NC), 9-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Kings Mountain advances its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC) to clash with the Storm in a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, May 6. The Storm come into the test with a record of 7-10.

The Wildcats now have a 0-16 record. They take the field next when they host Huss for a Big South 3A test on Tuesday, May 6. North Gaston will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 9-0 league loss to South Point (Belmont, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-11.
