In Friday's league test, the Pentucket Regional (West Newbury, MA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Newburyport Clippers (Newburyport, MA), by a tally of 20-0.

Next, the clash with the Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School Hawks (Hathorne, MA) in a non-league test, on Sunday, May 4. Pentucket Regional will attempt to advance on its 5-0 season record.

The Clippers (3-8) will now prepare for their test against Lynnfield (Lynnfield, MA). The Pioneers go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record.
