The Nelson County Governors soccer squad scored 8 points and held the host Dan River Wildcats to 0 in the Governors league victory on Wednesday.

The Governors now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Appomattox County for a Dogwood bout on Friday, May 23. Nelson County will play a Raiders squad coming off a 2-2 league Altavista (Altavista, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 4-7.
