The Floyd County Buffaloes softball team (Floyd, VA), was routed 10-4 in Monday's league test with the host Alleghany Mountaineers (Covington, VA)

Coming up next, the Mountaineers clash with the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a Three Rivers test, on Wednesday, May 24. Alleghany will attempt to improve on its 16-6 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 4-14 record after their 8-7 league loss to Alleghany (Covington, VA).

The Buffaloes (9-12) will now prepare for their test against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars come into the non-league test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, Patrick County was routed by Halifax County (South Boston, VA), 11-2, in a league test.
