The Clare Pioneers softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Gladwin Flying G's to 4 in the Pioneers league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Clare improves its record to 22-10 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league game on Thursday, May 25. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 4-4. Chippewa Hills won 14-9 in their recent non-league game against Lakeview (Lakeview, MI)
In their next game, the Flying G's clash with the Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, May 23. Gladwin will attempt to improve on its 20-12 season record. The Comets come into the game with a 18-10 record after their 13-4 league win over Merrill (Merrill, MI).
