The Lincoln Academy Eagles softball team (Newcastle, ME), was routed 9-1 in Wednesday's league test with the visiting Gardiner Tigers (Gardiner, ME)

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME) in a Class B South test, on Friday, May 24. Gardiner will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Hornets enter the test with a 11-3 record after their 5-4 league loss to Medomak Valley (Waldoboro, ME).

The Eagles (5-10) will now prepare for their test against Morse (Bath, ME). The Shipbuilders enter the Class B South test with a 2-13 record. In their last test, Morse was routed by Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 5-3, in a non-league test.
