West Virginia High School Baseball - Bridgeport defeats Morgantown

May 23, 2025: Morgantown, WV 26501

The Bridgeport Indians (Bridgeport, WV) baseball trounced the host Morgantown Mohigans (Morgantown, WV), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Indians now own a 25-8 record. They take the field next when they host Frankfort for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 27. Bridgeport will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Robert C. Byrd (Clarksburg, WV). The Falcons record now stands at 20-7.

With the defeat, Morgantown drops to 24-10 on the year. The Mohigans travel to Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV) to clash with the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, May 27. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 23-10. Wheeling Park lost 12-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV)
