The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Dakota Cougars (Macomb, MI) and the visiting Anchor Bay Tars (Fair Haven, MI), saw Dakota's softball squad nip Anchor Bay by a count of 10-5.

The Cougars now sport a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chippewa Valley for a Macomb Area - Red match on Thursday, May 26. Dakota will face a Big Reds squad coming off a 7-4 league loss to Utica Eisenhower (Shelby Township, MI). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-7.

With the loss, Anchor Bay falls to 5-3 on the campaign.
