Archbishop Williams Bishops (Braintree, MA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Braintree Wamps (Braintree, MA), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bishops now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Peabody Veterans Memorial for a non-league challenge on Monday, May 27. Archbishop Williams will face a Tanners squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Masconomet Regional (Boxford, MA). The Tanners record now stands at 16-3.

With the loss, Braintree falls to 9-10 on the campaign. The Wamps travel to Arlington (Arlington, MA) to face the Spy Ponders in a non-league challenge on Friday, May 31. The Spy Ponders enter the challenge with a record of 15-5. Arlington won 16-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA)
