Maine High School Softball - Penobscot Valley bounces Greenville

The Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) softball routed the host Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), 10-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Howlers (10-0) will now prepare for their match against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates enter the non-league match with a 1-13 record. In their last match, Piscataquis was routed by Penquis Valley (Milo, ME), 11-2, in a league match.
With the loss, Greenville falls to 4-8 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to face the Minutemen in a non-league match on Saturday, May 27. The Minutemen enter the match with a record of 4-5. Stearns won 12-3 in their recent league match against Lee Academy (Lee, ME)
