The Piscataquis Pirates softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Schenck Wolverines to 5 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Piscataquis moves its record to 5-7 on the year. The Pirates travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to play the Howlers in a non-league game on Tuesday, May 31. The Howlers come into the game with a record of 5-3.
In their next game, the Wolverines play the Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 30. Schenck will attempt to move on its 4-7 season record. The Lakers come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 12-11 non-league loss to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME).
