The Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) softball routed the visiting Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), 8-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Lynx now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Foxcroft Academy for a Class C North outing on Saturday, May 31. Mattanawcook will encounter a Ponies team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Ellsworth (Ellsworth, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 3-8.

With the loss, Calais moves to 2-10 on the season. The Blue devils travel to Shead (Eastport, ME) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, May 31. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 2-8. Shead won 9-8 in their recent league outing against Schenck (East Millinocket, ME)
