Maine High School Softball - Mattanawcook bounces Calais

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) and the host Calais Blue Devils (Calais, ME), observed Mattanawcook's softball team notch a victory over Calais by a tally of 10-2.

The Lynx (9-3) will now prepare for their bout against Calais (Calais, ME). The Blue Devils go into the Class C North bout with a 3-8 record. In their last bout, Calais gained a win over Woodland (Baileyville, ME), 16-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) in a Class C North bout, on Tuesday, May 27. Calais will attempt to advance on its 3-10 season record.
