The Linton-Stockton Miners softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting South Knox Spartans to 5 in the Miners non-league win on Tuesday.

The Miners now sport a 17-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Vigo for a non-league battle on Wednesday, May 28. Linton-Stockton will confront a Vikings team coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Sullivan (Sullivan, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 23-3.

With the loss, South Knox moves to 7-12 on the season.
