The Bernalillo Spartans baseball team (Bernalillo, NM), was overwhelmed 9-4 in Friday's league outing with the host Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM)
The Vikings now hold a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a 4A District 6 outing on Tuesday, June 1. Valley will confront a Chargers team coming off a 35-0 non-league win over Socorro (Socorro, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 9-6.
Next, the Spartans confront the Hope Christian Huskies (Albuquerque, NM) in a 4A District 6 outing, on Tuesday, June 1. Bernalillo will attempt to advance on its 7-8 season record. The Huskies go into the outing with a 7-6 record after their 12-1 non-league loss to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM).
