Iowa High School Softball - Prairie City-Monroe bounces Greene County

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Greene County Rams.
The Mustangs (3-0) will now prepare for their match against Pella (Pella, IA). The Dutch come into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Pella was routed by Indianola (Indianola, IA), 7-1, in a league match.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Nevada Cubs (Nevada, IA) in a Heart of Iowa match, on Friday, May 30. Greene County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cubs come into the match with a 2-0 record after their 15-7 non-league win over Carroll (Carroll, IA).
