The Van Meter Bulldogs (Van Meter, IA) softball routed the host Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA), 13-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their bout against Panorama (Panora, IA). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Panorama notched a victory over IKM/Manning (Manning, IA), 17-11, in a non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Central Valley for a West Central bout on Thursday, May 30. Pleasantville will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Southwest Valley (Corning, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-3.
