The Saydel Eagles routed the host Roland-Story Norsemen softball squad by a count of 10-2 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Perry, IA). The Bluejays go into the Heart of Iowa battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Perry was routed by Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA), 7-0, in a league battle.

The Norsemen now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie City-Monroe for a non-league battle on Friday, May 31. Roland-Story will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Grand View Christian (Des Moines, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-1.
