In Thursday's non-league bout, the North Providence Cougars (North Providence, RI) baseball squad the visiting Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI), by a score of 4-2.

The Chargers (13-9) will now prepare for their bout against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos enter the Division 2 bout with a 13-8 record. In their last bout, Burrillville edged Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 2-1, in a league bout.
