In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL) softball team held off the host New Brockton Gamecocks (New Brockton, AL), by a margin of 5-4.

With the triumph, Pike County moves its record to 14-12 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Opp (Opp, AL) to play the Bobcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, May 3. The Bobcats come into the contest with a record of 25-9. Opp won 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Wicksburg (Newton, AL)
