The Metea Valley Mustangs lacrosse team scored 16 points and limited the visiting Naperville Central Redhawks to 2 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mustangs (8-3) will now prepare for their game against Geneva (Geneva, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Geneva toppled Mundelein (Mundelein, IL), 12-5, in a non-league game.
The Redhawks (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Neuqua Valley (Naperville, IL). The Wildcats enter the DuPage Valley game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Neuqua Valley was overwhelmed by Naperville North (Naperville, IL), 13-12, in a league game.
