The Gray Stone Day Knights smashed the visiting Albemarle Bulldogs soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Wednesday's league match.
The Knights now sport a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to South Stanly for a Yadkin Valley 1A/2A match on Thursday, May 4. Gray Stone Day will encounter a Rowdy Rebel Bulls squad coming off a 9-0 league loss to Robinson (Concord, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 4-12.
With the loss, Albemarle drops to 1-15 on the season.
