Illinois High School Softball - Downers Grove South bounces Willowbrook

The Downers Grove South Mustangs routed the visiting Willowbrook Warriors softball squad by a final score of 8-1 in Wednesday's league battle.

The Mustangs (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL). The Raiders go into the non-league battle with a 2-20 record. In their last battle, Bolingbrook was routed by Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL), 9-8, in a non-league battle.

The Warriors now possess a 11-10 record. They play next when they travel to Berwyn/Cicero Morton for a West Suburban - Gold battle on Friday, May 5. Willowbrook will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Reavis (Burbank, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-10.
