The Sunapee Lakers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Newport Tigers to 2 in the Lakers non-league victory on Friday.
The Lakers (6-3) will now prepare for their match against Epping (Epping, NH). The Blue Devils go into the Division IV match with a 4-3 record.
The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Kearsarge (North Sutton, NH). The Cougars go into the Division III match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Kearsarge was overwhelmed by Conant (Jaffrey, NH), 14-1, in a league match.
