Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Galileo Falcons (Danville, VA), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders confront the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a Dogwood challenge, on Monday, May 6. Appomattox County will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Governors enter the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 8-0 league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).

The Falcons now possess a 5-6 record. They take the field next when they host Altavista for a Dogwood challenge on Wednesday, May 8. Galileo will confront a Colonels team coming off a 8-0 league loss to Nelson County (Lovingston, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-14.
