Diamond Wildcats (Diamond, MO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Pierce City Eagles (Pierce City, MO), 11-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now sport a 35-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar for a Class 2 District 6 challenge on Monday, May 6. Diamond will face a Tigers squad coming off a 14-4 league win over Southwest (Washburn, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 12-16.

With the loss, Pierce City falls to 2-19 on the campaign.
