In Friday's league contest, the Mattanawcook Lynx (Lincoln, ME) softball team overwhelmed the visiting George Stevens Academy Eagles (Blue Hill, ME), by a margin of 19-3.

With the triumph, Mattanawcook moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Lynx travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to play the Ponies in a Class C North contest on Monday, May 6. The Ponies come into the contest with a record of 1-6. Foxcroft Academy lost 6-4 in their recent league contest against Washington Academy (East Machias, ME)

In their next game, the Eagles play the Mount View Mustangs (Thorndike, ME) in a Class C North contest, on Saturday, May 4. George Stevens Academy will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Orono (Orono, ME).
