In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Port Huron Red Hawks baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Marine City Mariners.
The Red Hawks (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI). The Huskies go into the non-league game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Lakeview nudged Romeo (Romeo, MI), 4-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Mariners play the Warren Woods-Tower Titans (Warren, MI) in a non-league game, on Monday, May 5. Marine City will attempt to improve on its 7-4 season record. The Titans go into the game with a 0-5 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Fraser (Fraser, MI).
