The Denison-Schleswig Monarchs baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Harlan Cyclones to 4 in the Monarchs league victory on Thursday.
The Monarchs (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Shenandoah (Shenandoah, IA). The Mustangs go into the Hawkeye 10 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Shenandoah edged Red Oak (Red Oak, IA), 10-3, in a league match.
The Cyclones (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Kuemper (Carroll, IA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record.
