Spectators at Thursday's league match between the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) and the visiting Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA), witnessed North Polk's softball squad tip Bondurant-Farrar by a count of 4-0.

The Comets now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Carlisle for a Raccoon River test on Monday, June 3. North Polk will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 11-5 non-league win over Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-2.

The Bluejays (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Jefferson (Council Bluffs, IA). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league test with a 6-2 record. In their last test, Jefferson tipped St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA), 5-0, in a non-league test.
