The North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) softball the host Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays (Bondurant, IA), 2-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Comets (26-2) will now prepare for their bout against Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Hawks go into the non-league bout with a 15-11 record. In their last bout, Ankeny held off Southeast Polk (Pleasant Hill, IA), 12-5, in a league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 17-7 record. They play next when they travel to Roland-Story for a non-league bout on Friday, June 21. Bondurant-Farrar will confront a Norsemen squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Prairie City-Monroe (Monroe, IA). The Norsemen record now stands at 6-15.
