Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Clarke Indians (Osceola, IA) and the visiting Davis County Mustangs (Bloomfield, IA), witnessed Clarke's softball squad tip Davis County by a count of 9-7.

The Indians now sport a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Interstate 35 for a non-league match on Saturday, June 1. Clarke will face a Roadrunners squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Woodward-Granger (Woodward, IA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Davis County moves to 1-4 on the season. The Mustangs host Moravia (Moravia, IA) to face the Mohawks in a non-league match on Saturday, June 1. The Mohawks go into the match with a record of 3-6. Moravia won 11-1 in their recent non-league match against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA)
