Illinois High School Softball - Glenbrook North gets by New Trier

The Glenbrook North Spartans got by the visiting New Trier Trevians softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Spartans (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Evanston (Evanston, IL). The Wildkits go into the Central Suburban - South battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Evanston nudged Glenbrook South (Glenview, IL), 8-7, in a league battle.
The Trevians now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Maine South for a Central Suburban - South battle on Thursday, May 6. New Trier will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 9-1.
